CeraVe Takes a Skin-Barrier First Approach to Aging

e new anti-aging serum helps replenish ceramides lost with age, patent-pending ceramide booster tech, and 5 key anti-aging ingredients.

CeraVe launched the new Skin Renewing Super Boost Serum; a facial serum developed with dermatologists that helps fight five visible signs of aging by strengthening the skin barrier first.

By combining barrier support with a blend of anti-aging ingredients— hyaluronic acid, peptides, niacinamide, vitamin B12, and LHA—this new formula is designed to help improve the look of five signs of aging.

Esther Garcia, U.S. Brand General Manager, CeraVe, commented:

“We’re seeing that consumers want gentle multi-tasking products that deliver powerful results, but without compromising efficacy to simplify their skincare routine. Our new Skin Renewing Super Boost Serum, formulated with our patent-pending Ceramide Booster Technology, helps fight 5 signs of aging and strengthen the barrier so anti-aging ingredients can perform to their full potential, and reflects CeraVe’s commitment to delivering accessible, science-backed innovations that put skin health first.”

According to consumer research, 72% of consumers say they want products that deliver multiple benefits in a single formula.

Among Gen X consumers and late millennials, top skincare concerns include uneven skin tone, fine lines, firmness, texture, and hydration – concerns commonly associated with skin aging – though many often experience irritation associated with traditional anti-aging ingredients.

Together with dermatologists, CeraVe developed this formula to address some of these needs as consumers increasingly seek skincare products that simplify their routines without sacrificing results.
